Jessie Dickey - new friend, awesome playwright
Mark just had a blast playing the "attractive man with a gun" during a week-long reading of Jessica Dickey's fantastic play "The Guard" at the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis.
She was in Minneapolis doing her one-woman show "The Amish Project" in the Dowling Studio and the theatre wanted to present a reading of one of her other works. The Guard, which recently premiered at the historic Ford's Theatre in Washington, DC, is a story that begins in a high profile art gallery and flashes back to scenes involving Rembrandt and Homer. It deals with art, love, meaning, existence, and what it means to be eternal.
